Founder - Sam Bassett

After enjoying pretty much every team sport going when growing up, in 2016 I discovered running initially as a relatively inexpensive method of keeping fit in adult life. Since then my running journey has took me to parkrun, club running, and to all distances from 1500m to completing my 12th road marathon in 2023.

In 2020, after breaking the elusive sub 3 hour barrier for the marathon, I became interested in helping friends and fellow club runners try and shave off those minutes required to have the same sense of achievement. From this moment I started my coaching journey through leading club sessions whilst qualifying as a run leader. I was then tasked by friends to plan their training and offer advice which helped them all develop as athletes, take a consistent and intelligent approach and result in substantial PB's in all distances.

I have been sharing my personal training experiences and running tips in weekly videos on my YouTube channel since September 2022 and more recently, I qualified as a UK athletics coach in February 2023.
